About Me
I, Dr. Paula Eichner (she/her), am a NYS licensed psychologist. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2019. I earned my BA in psychology from Gettysburg College in 2013. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Applewood Center, Inc in Cleveland, OH and my post-doctoral supervision at Renew Hope and Healing in Victor, NY.

I have focused my experience on working with children, adolescence and young adults aged 3 to approximately 24 years old, and their families including underserved clients. I have worked at a college counseling center, private practice, and community mental health centers. I have treated a variety of disorders including Trauma, behavioral concerns, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. I typically let the client lead the session and use a variety of methods including play, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Management, and Humanistic techniques.
I greatly values the relationship with the client and view it as an important part of success. I treat all clients with empathy and respect in a warm and caring environment. I believe that taking a multicultural perspective is an integral part of assessment and treatment because each person is unique. I strive to help each client learn new skills that can be used in everyday life. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents, focusing on skills that can prepare them for adulthood.

I was born and raised in Rochester, NY.
